Beclomethasone With Salicylic Acid Lotion is used to treat various inflammatory and hyperkeratotic skin conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, and other dermatoses that involve redness, itching, scaling, and thickening of the skin. It helps to reduce inflammation and discomfort while promoting the shedding of excess skin cells.
Beclomethasone With Salicylic Acid Lotion combines a medium-potency corticosteroid with a keratolytic agent. Beclomethasone Dipropionate (the corticosteroid) works to reduce inflammation, itching, and redness. Salicylic Acid helps to soften and remove scales, reducing skin thickening and allowing the corticosteroid to penetrate the affected skin more effectively. This medicine must be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You should not use it on broken skin, infected skin without appropriate antimicrobial treatment, or if you have any known allergy to its ingredients.
The most common side effects include mild burning, stinging, irritation, or dryness at the application site. Inform your doctor if you have any skin infections, sensitive skin, or are using other topical medications.
